Shop Local on Small Business Saturday

Small businesses are an integral part of the communities they serve. They provide much needed goods and services, create jobs, and contribute to the spirit of the towns and cities we live and play in.

And more than ever they need your patronage as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic. Small brick-and-mortar stores were hit especially hard the past two years.

That’s why we encourage you to shop local in support of Small Business Saturday on November 26.

Small Business Saturday was first observed on November 27, 2010 and falls on the last Saturday in November. It serves as a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which tend to emphasize big box retailers and ecommerce sites.

This Small Business Saturday — and throughout the holiday season — join us in supporting local, small businesses throughout our communities. Together, we can help them thrive and enable them  to play an even bigger part in keeping our communities vibrant.

Are you a small business owner — or are you thinking about starting your own business? TwinStar provides a wide range of business services — including business loans, checking and savings — that can help you grow your business. Our local team of business service experts are here to help you.
