Transferring funds

Funds Transfer to a TwinStar member

In the Menu, click or tap Transactions > Transfer to member. The Member to Member Transfer page appears.

From there you have two transfer options

Single Transfer

You can choose to make a single transfer to another member or link another member's account (for deposit purposes only) to your online login

You will need to obtain the account number and Share/Loan ID from the other TwinStar member.

Warning: When transferring to another members account, your name and account number will appear on the other member’s statement and online banking history.
Notify TwinStar Credit Union if a linked account has been closed or is no longer needed so it may be deleted from future use.
  1. In the From drop-down list, select the account from which you want to transfer funds.
  2. In the Amount field, enter the amount to transfer.
  3. Optional) Enter information about the transfer in the Description field.
  4. In the To Account Number field, enter the account number of the member to which you wish to transfer funds.
  5. In the To Share ID/Loan ID field, enter the two digit share or loan identification number provided by the member in which you wish to transfer funds. For example a Prime Share savings might be Share ID 00.
  6. In the Account Type drop-down list, select from Checking, Savings, or Loan.
  7. In the First Three of Last Name or Business Name field, when transferring to a personal account enter the first three letters of the primary account holder’s last name. For transfers to a business account enter the first three letters of the business name (i.e. The Store would be entered as THE).
  8. Click or tap Submit. The Transaction Authorized message appears and confirms that the transfer was processed.
  9. Click or tap Close to set up another transfer, or click or tap View in Online Activity to review the transfer.

Link Account

If you plan to make more than one transfer to the other member, or if you need to create a recurring or future-dated transfer, linking the account is required.

When you select the option to link the other member's account to your login, it will place that account number in the drop-down menu in the funds transfer option after you log out and login again.
