Searching transactions

You can search transactions that pertain to a single account on the Transactions page.

When searching for a transaction, the search option will search the transaction's description. Therefore, any term that appears in the transaction (such as "Check #2389" or a merchant name, like “Safeway”) can be searched for.

The other filter options are by amount or date range. Select a specific share account to display transactions only for that account. If you add a tag or note to a transaction, you can also search it to display any transaction with that tag or note.

When searching transactions, you are able to search across multiple types of information, not just the transaction description.

To add a Tag or Note

  1. Click on the Transactions and locate the charge
  2. Click on the transaction you wish to tag or add a note to
  3. Details display on the right
  4. Click the dropdown under Tags or type a note in the open box

The note and tag will automatically save the changes as you go.

To mark a charge as recurring

  1. Click on Transactions and locate the charge
  2. Click the down arrow to the right of the dollar amount
  3. Toggle the switch for Recurring Charge

This option marks the charge in your transactions to easily identify what charges are recurring. It does not change the frequency of the charge.

To download transaction details

  1. Click on Transactions and locate the charge
  2. Click on the transaction you wish to download
  3. Details display on the right
  4. Click Download
  5. A PDF document is automatically downloaded that includes:
  • Account
  • Post date
  • Amount
  • Description
  • Type

In the app Go to “More” and scroll to Transactions. On the next page at the top is a search field you could enter your search term.

On Desktop, there is a search and a filter button on the individual shares.
