How to set up biometric login

Touch or Face ID allows you to log in using biometrics instead of your login ID and password. By enrolling in this feature you will be prompted to fingerprint or face scan to login. In order to enroll in this option your fingerprint or face scan must first be registered within your device settings. Please reach out to your device manufacturer’s website for help enabling biometrics for your device.

Attention Android Users: Google Play recently changed their authentication standards for facial recognition. This change may affect members who have it enabled on their Android devices as a secure sign-in method for our mobile banking app. Unfortunately, this is not an issue with the mobile banking app. Most Android cameras will not support Google’s new standards. Apple devices are exempt from this issue as they use camera technology that meets higher industry standards. Facial recognition may still unlock the device itself, but it will not work as a verification method for purchases or app logins. To bypass this issue, we recommend using fingerprint authentication or a password keeper for a quick and secure login for banking and other apps.
