Linking External Accounts

Follow these steps to link an external account in online banking. 

Once you are logged into online banking:

  1. Select the your name on the top right.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Accounts Outside of TwinStar.
  4. Click on Link an External Account.

Fill out the fields pertaining to the External Account.

  1. Enter in Routing number for External Account.
  2. Enter External Account number.
  3. Select account type, checking or savings.
  4. Choose what type of account it is, Personal or Business.
  5. Add a description (optional).
  6. Accept the terms for electronic funds transfer.
  7. Click Submit.

The external account needs to be verified before transfers can be completed. 

 

Verifying External Accounts

Check the recent transactions of the external account being linked for the two small deposits with the description TwinStar Trial Deposit.

Deposits are received between 1 and 3 business days and are used to confirm the account is valid.

Once you are logged into online banking:

  1. Select the your name on the top right.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Accounts Outside of TwinStar.
  4. Click Verify next to the account.
  5. Enter the amount of the two deposits received into the external account.
  6. Click Confirm and Activate Account.
  7. Once the account is confirmed, transfers can be made to and from the external account.

 

Un-linking External Accounts

Once you are logged into online banking:

  • Select the your name on the top right.
  • Click on Settings.
  • Scroll down to the Accounts section.
  • Locate your account outside of TwinStar.
  • Click on the dropdown arrow.
  • Click "Unlink" and confirm.
