Transfers

In the Mobile app, there are two places to initiate a transfer: from the Transfer box on the bottom right of the dashboard, and from the Transfer & Pay tab. On the Desktop Click or tap Transfers> Transfer.

 

Transfer between Accounts (Internal & External)

 

From the Dashboard:

  1. Use the first dropdown to select the account to transfer funds From.
    • Only accounts that have a balance are listed, and linked external accounts
  2. Use the second dropdown to select the account to transfer funds To.
    • All accounts are listed, including linked external accounts.
  3. Type in the Amount to transfer.
  4. Click Transfer.
  5. A popup confirms the transfer was successful.

 

From Transfer & Pay

Use this option to set up recurring or future dated transfers.

  1. Select the Transfer & Pay tab at the top of the page
  2. Click Transfer
  3. Use the first dropdown to select the account to transfer funds From.
    • Only accounts that have a balance are listed, and linked external accounts
  4. Use the second dropdown to select the account to transfer funds To.
    • All accounts are listed, including linked external accounts.
  5. Choose the Frequency
  6. Set the Date for the one time or recurring transfer. 
  7. Type in the Amount to transfer
  8. Click Transfer

 

Creating Recurring Transfers

  1. Select the Transfer & Pay tab at the top of the page
  2. Click Transfer
  3. Select the desired Frequency from the drop down
  4. Set the Date to begin the recurring transfer
  5. (Optional) Assign a Memo to appear in transaction history in Digital Banking and on account statements.

Remove/cancel recurring transfers:

  1. Select the Transfer & Pay tab at the top of the page
  2. Click Transfer
  3. Locate the transfer history section
  4. Cancel pending transfers by clicking Remove.

 

Clear Previous Transfer History

  1. Select the Transfer & Pay tab at the top of the page
  2. Click Transfer
  3. Locate One-Time Transfer History 
  4. Click Dismiss next to the transaction

 

Transfer to Friends (Member to Member)

There are two places in online banking to initiate transfers to other TwinStar members: from the Transfer box on the bottom right of the dashboard, and from the Transfer & Pay tab.

Click on the To Friends tab.

From the Dashboard:

  1. Click on the "To Friends" tab
  2. Use the first dropdown to select the account to transfer funds From.
    • Only accounts that have a balance are listed, and linked external accounts
  3. Use the second dropdown to either select a saved Friend or add a "New Friend
    • Type the other member's Account Number and Last Name to add a new friend account
      • Click Manage Friends to delete a saved account.
  4. Type in the Amount to transfer.
  5. Click Submit Transfer.

From Transfer & Pay

Use this option to set up recurring or future dated transfers.

  2. Click To Friends
  3. Use the first dropdown to select the account to transfer funds From.
    • Only accounts that have a balance are listed, and linked external accounts
  4. Use the second dropdown to either select a saved Friend or add a "New Friend
    • Type the other member's Account Number and Last Name to add a new friend account
    • Click Manage Friends to delete a saved account.
  5. Type in the Amount to transfer
  6. Add a Memo (optional)
  7. Click Submit Transfer

 

Transfers FAQ

Can a member transfer from a share to their credit card within the same account?

 Yes, a "Quick Transfer" option is available under Transfer and Pay.

Can we pay to our loans using the “Quick Transfer”?

Yes
