Using Account Switcher

Account Switcher enables members with multiple TwinStar accounts the ability to manage logging in or “switching” between the accounts.

Please note:

  • This feature is not recommended for use on public or shared devices.
  • Members who wish to use Account Switcher on all their devices/browsers will need to link their accounts on each of those devices/browsers individually.
  • This feature uses cookies and will only work in browsers when “Remember me” is selected and must have cookies allowed and will need to be updated every 90 days.
  • Using Biometrics to login on the mobile app makes switching between accounts much easier after enabling Biometrics for each username individually while logged into the mobile app.

 

Linking accounts for Account Switcher in a Browser

  • When logging in on the browser, click the “Remember this device for 90 days” to enable Account Switcher to display under your profile options after logging in.
  • Once logged in, click on the primary account holder’s name in the top right, and click on “Link another Profile”. 
  • Please note if logging into the browser on a mobile device the page is resized to fit your screen.  Select the three horizontal lines icon in the upper right to open the menu and then select name.   
  • You will then be directed to log into the account you wish to add. Enter the username, password, then select how you want to receive the verification code, enter code, and select “Remember this device for 90 days” to enable Account Switcher.
  • You’ve now successfully linked your accounts. When you select your name in the top right, you’ll see both profiles listed with a checkmark showing the account you’re currently viewing. 
  • To switch between accounts, select the other username.
  • For members with more than two TwinStar accounts, please follow these steps for each additional account you wish you access with Account Switcher.


Unlinking accounts for Account Switcher in a Browser

  • Once you’re logged in, click on your name in the top right. Please note if logging into the browser on a mobile device the page is resized to fit your screen.  Select the three horizontal lines icon in the upper right to open the menu and then select name.  
  • To unlink, simply click the three horizontal dots next to the account you want to remove and then select “Unlink.”
  • Confirm you want to unlink the accounts.
  • You will receive a green confirmation that the accounts have been unlinked.

 

Linking accounts for Account Switcher in the Mobile App

  • To link account profiles (username) in the mobile app, after logging into your first profile logout and then log into your second profile.              
  • Your accounts will then be linked. 
  • To view your linked profiles, click the “Profiles” icon in the upper right corner, or click More, then the dropdown arrow next to your name on the More screen.
  • You'll have a drawer pop up at the bottom of the screen where you'll see both profiles listed with a checkmark indicating the profile you're currently viewing. Usernames are partially masked with asterisks.
  • To switch between linked profiles, simply tap on the profile you'd like to view in the pop-up drawer.
  • When switching between profiles on the mobile app, you'll still be prompted to type in your password, but no 2FA/verification codes will be required now that the profiles are linked.
  • Having biometrics enabled for each of your usernames can make this step easier.  Click Here to learn how to enable biometrics.
  • For members with more than two TwinStar accounts, please follow the steps for each additional account you wish you access with Account Switcher.
  • Each login to the mobile app moving forward the login screen will display a switch option in the upper right allowing you to select which username you’d like to log into in addition to the ability to switch between usernames after logging in.

 

Unlinking accounts for Account Switcher in the Mobile App

  • To unlink a profile, click the “Profiles” icon in the upper right corner, or click “More”, then the dropdown arrow next to your name on the More screen.
  • You'll have a drawer pop up at the bottom of the screen where you'll see your profiles listed.
  • From the pop-up drawer, click on “Manage profiles on this Device.”
  • Then click “Remove from this Device” and confirm you want to remove it.
  • You will receive a pop up, confirming the account profile has been unlinked.
