Celebrating International Credit Union Day

TwinStar Credit Union has helped countless members realize their financial dreams for over 85 years. We take pride in being with you every step of the way of your journey – whether you’re getting your first credit card or refinancing your home loan. 

As we get ready to celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day on October 19, we are especially reminded of our commitment to our members. This year marks the 75th anniversary of ICU Day, which aims to highlight how credit unions worldwide help their members achieve financial literacy, freedom, and goals.

"Helping our members achieve their goals  is at the forefront of everything we do," said TwinStar CEO Jeff Kennedy. "By being invested in our members' success, we are able to make a greater impact on our communities as well." 

Credit unions are built on the principle of people helping people. For more than 100 years, credit unions have worked tirelessly to provide access to affordable financial products and services – especially in unserved communities.

Investing in the communities we serve is paramount to us at TwinStar. Staying true to our roots as a teacher’s credit union, we heavily support local K-12 and higher education.
