We offer scholarships to graduating high school seniors and older students seeking a college education.
Available Scholarships
High School Scholarships
TwinStar Credit Union awards fifteen $2,000 scholarships to members graduating from high school in 2023 and attending an institution of higher learning in Fall 2023. Applications are available to members starting January 2nd and due by March 31st. Scholarships are awarded to recipients in May and June at the student's high school awards ceremony.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant must be a member of the Credit Union and in good standing.
- Application must be accompanied by a current high school transcript.
- All application questions must be completed for consideration.

Higher Education Scholarships
TwinStar Credit Union offers $2,000 scholarships every year to nine members pursuing a higher education. To apply, you must be out of high school for at least a year. TwinStar’s Higher Education Scholarship Program begins on June 1st. The submission deadline is July 31st. Scholarships are awarded in August and September.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant must be a member of the Credit Union and in good standing.
- Application must be accompanied by a copy of school enrollment or acceptance letter.
- Application must be accompanied by a high school or college transcript (unofficial is acceptable).
- All application questions must be completed for consideration.
Cheri Kennedy Child Daycare Scholarship Award
Scholarship for daycare expenses are available for a single working parent enrolled in an institution of higher education with at least 8 credit hours per quarter. The scholarship amount is up to $5,000, covering a 12-month period from September-August. Submissions are accepted yearly between April 1st-June 1st, and awarded in September.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant must be a member of the Credit Union and in good standing.
- Applicant must be a single working parent.
- Applicant must be enrolled in a college, university or vocational school with at least 8 credit hours per quarter.
- Applicant must attach proof of enrollment in an institution of higher education.
- All application questions must be completed for consideration.
